Alan Goodman, President and CEO of Lawyers Investigating Service, Inc. is a Past National Director having served as the Assistant National Director of this nationwide Legal Professional Investigators Association. Goodman served as Assistant National Director after serving two terms as the Northeast Regional Director. He has been a NALI member since 1996 and has served on various committees and assignments. Goodman represents NALI at Conferences and Seminars throughout the country.

Formerly a Board member of the National Council of Investigative and Security Services, Goodman served on NCISS's Legislative Committee. Goodman has represented both his state and national Private Investigative associations on Capitol Hill with Maine Senators Snowe and Collins and Maine's Representatives Pingree and Michaud. Goodman continues to monitor legislation in Maine and the nation.

Goodman is an active member and participant in the National Association of Professional Process Servers.
